Lattice games

چکیده
Lattice games are real-valued functions de...ned on a ...nite lattice L. The basic players are the nonzero join-irreducible elements of the lattice and the coalitions are its elements. If L is the Boolean algebra 2 then we obtain a n-person game. Gilboa and Lehrer introduced the global games, which are lattice games where L = ¦n, the lattice of all partitions of N ordered by re...nement. Faigle and Kern investigated a special type of cooperative game with precedence constraints. In this model L is the distributive lattice of the order ideals of a partially ordered set. We study two special classes of lattice games: topological games and convex geometry games. Finally, we de...ne the join and the union Shapley values for decomposition of coalitions with the join and the set-union operations. AMS subject classi...cations (1991). 90D12, 06B05, 52B40

Lattice Point Methods for Combinatorial Games
We encode arbitrary finite impartial combinatorial games in terms of lattice points in rational convex polyhedra. Encodings provided by these lattice games can be made particularly efficient for octal games, which we generalize to squarefree games. These additionally encompass all heap games in a natural setting, in which the Sprague–Grundy theorem for normal play manifests itself geometrically...
متن کاملParrondo Games as Lattice Gas Automata
Parrondo games are coin flipping games with the surprising property that alternating plays of two losing games can produce a winning game. We show that this phenomenon can be modelled by probabilistic lattice gas automata. Furthermore, motivated by the recent introduction of quantum coin flipping games, we show that quantum lattice gas automata provide an interesting definition for quantum Parr...
متن کامل5 Distributivity breaking and macroscopic quantum games
Examples of games between two partners with mixed strategies, calculated by the use of the probability amplitude as some vector in Hilbert space are given. The games are macroscopic ,no microscopic quantum agent is supposed. The reason for the use of the quantum formalism is in breaking of the distributivity property for the lattice of yes-no questions arising due to the special rules of games....
متن کاملOn the solution of cooperative games
Cooperative games are real-valued lattice functions quantifying the TU (transferable utility) worth of cooperation within a (finite) player set. A fundamental issue is how to share this worth amongst the players, i.e., the solution problem. Although cooperative games were originally conceived exclusively in terms of coalitional games, associating a worth to each coalition, later more complex ga...
